What sets my services apart from the other career coaches out there is that I, myself, am a career IT professional with over 16 years as a Chief Information Officer at both large public and private, for-profit and non-profit organizations.
I've interviewed and hired hunderds of IT professionals into various roles over my working lifetime and I can't tell you how many times I just cringe inwardly and think of all the ways a job candidate could have done a better job during an interview. I know what makes candidates stand out on paper, what it takes to get an interview, and how to communicate during that interview to maximize your chances of getting that position. I have a passion for helping other IT professionals and project managers get where they want to be in their career and I personally understand how important good advice and career coaching can be in helping someone advance their career.
I am a currently practicing CIO managing the IT needs of a medically related organization in the USA. Because of my work-load, I work with my career coaching clients in the evenings, the weekends, and on my days away from the office. Hence the reason for not publicly disclosing my identity on this website.
If you decide to reach out to me via the contact form, I am more than happy to personally introduce myself via video chat. In the meantime, let me provide you with some background information on myself. I came up through the IT ranks as a programmer and application developer, moving into IT management as a supervisor, then a manager, project manager and finally as the Chief Information Officer.
