I've interviewed and hired hunderds of IT professionals into various roles over my working lifetime. I can't tell you how many times I've conducted an interview and quietly thought to myself "If someone had only helped them prepare!" I know what organizations are looking for in an IT hire and I can provide you insights into how to best tailor your experience and presentation to help advance your career plan.

There are many generic career coaches out there with little to no real-world experience - and very few with enough IT experience to even comprehend what an IT job description is really asking for. In the end, HR people don't hire IT people - other IT people make the final decision on who to hire. As a CIO, I can help provide you with those insights you aren't going to find elsewhere.
As your coach, no one wants to see you succeed more than me! My clients become my friends and with that friendship comes honesty and transparency. I'll work hard to help give you the tools you need to succeed. I may also give you some unsolicited, direct feedback on areas for improvement that may hurt a little at first but will help you in the long-term. Self-awareness is a critical ingredient to success, so let’s identify any blind spots together.
While many of the coaching tips and advice I provide can be used across industries and professions, I specialize in providing these services solely to Information Technology professionals and Project Managers. A normal coaching session is 50-minutes in length, however, I understand that everyone's needs are unique, so session duration can be adjusted as needed.
The cost of career coaching varies depending on the length of the partnership, and the customized needs of the individual. I always start with a no cost 20-minute introductory consultation to get to know a client and what their needs might be. From there, we plan our next steps. Each session runs $150 and the number of sessions a client needs will vary greatly depending on where they are professionally, where it is they are wanting to go, and what they feel they need. All sessions must be pre-paid via our website prior to start of a session or they session will be re-booked for a later time.
Unless you live within the Tampa, FL metro, all our sessions are conducted virtually via video conference.
